'It wasn't being cut off... It was the litter': Motorists reveal satisfying times they caught a litter bug on the road and witnessed instant karma

When it comes to encountering a completely reckless and aggressive driver who has no business on the road, it's difficult to know what to do. Sometimes they can be extremely volatile and it's scary to confront them. Sometimes the road rage in drivers is so overwhelming, you truly can't predict what they are going to do next. But sometimes they are so heinous, you feel an obligation to approach them. For instance, when they are an idiot driver AND a litter bug. 

 

The combo is atrocious. Sure, decades ago you wouldn't even bat an eye at someone throwing trash out of their window, but now it's nauseating. After everything we've learned about the environment you're still going to be trashing it like that? Come on. I thought humanity has evolved at least a tiny bit from that?! Apparently not, but some of us have and just like this Redditor, some of us make sure there is instant karma when you're driving like a clown and littering.

  • This driver decided to not only cut off someone else in a parking lot and then take a reserved spot (obviously, not reserved for him), but he ALSO decided it would be cool to litter directly onto someone else's car. Not just any car, in fact, the car that he initially had cut off. So the hatred was palpable and the karma was that much more satisfying.

  • 'Smoldering [Cigs]'

    Pulling into the grocery store today, some dude in his pickup truck cut me off and tossed his ciga tte bt out the window under the hood of my car. The lot was mostly full, so he pulled into one of the curbside

Some canoe zoomed past her and tossed their b tout the window. It flew into her groceries and caught them on fire.   • did_i_get_screwed The one time I went to traffic court, the girl before me was there for a littering charge. She told the judge it wasn't fair because it was something small she threw out and $150 was too much of a fine. The judge asked her what she threw out the window and she said "just a little ciga_tte båt."

  • The judge does not hesitate, he says "Charge amended to discarding burning material. Fine is $1,500. Case Closed. See the clerk on your way out" Gavel Slams, girl looks thoroughly confused. I thought I had made a big mistake showing up to his court room, but he dropped my ticket and let me go in peace.
